Terms of sale

These are the terms we sell on through this website. Placing an order means you accept them.

Prices: every price here is in Indian rupees and includes GST. The price shown when you place the order is the price you pay. If a price is plainly wrong, we will tell you before going any further and you may cancel.

Your order: an order placed here is an offer to buy, and becomes a sale when we confirm it. Sometimes we cannot — the last piece may have sold at the counter, or no courier may reach the address — and then we tell you and return your money in full.

Stock: we sell at the counter as well as here, so something in stock when you open the page can be gone by the time you pay. Where that happens we tell you and refund at once.

The goods: colours look different on different screens, and handloom and hand-worked pieces vary a little from one to the next. That is the nature of the cloth and not a fault.

Your bill: a GST invoice goes with the parcel and to your email.

Cancelling: you may cancel any time before the parcel leaves the shop. After that, our returns policy applies.

If something goes wrong: talk to us first — the contact details are at the bottom of this page. Anything that cannot be settled that way is subject to Indian law and to the courts where this shop is registered.
